I am a writer, artist, educator that investigates the modern-day meaning of what does it mean to be Franco-American in the state of Maine and beyond. My writings are taught in several university courses as well as read in the community. I believe that story frees the people who know that they have them to tell. My teaching reflects this philosophy. I enjoy the work of creativity in the sense of how it allows a person to achieve the goals of gracious living.

I am currently writing a new book, working title: If These Walls Could Talk, which examines the comparison between my maman's life and my own and the differences that created our formation experiences.
I am also teaching a new course online for the University of Maine which will look in depth at the Franco-American women who create instant intercontinental connections as well as multicultural links for the women of French heritage.
