My name is Susan Jordan Bennett and I own Bennett Web & Design Co.
Much of my professional career was spent as a Dean of Admissions for a few different private colleges across the country. I then spent seven years working for a marketing and communications firm that provided market research, Web design and print services to colleges and universities. I left the corporate world and moved to Maine from Cape Cod in 2004 and started Bennett Web & Design Co.
My passion is to help people grow their business by developing Web sites as well all forms of collateral print
materials like brochures, catalogs, rack cards, business cards, posters, etc. A side project of BW&D Co. is Women Downeast a web site that promotes women entreprenuers in Washington and Hancock counties.
I am strong believer in volunteerism and am very involved with the Women's Health Resource Library in Milbridge, a wonderful non-profit lending library that offers health and wellness programs for women and their families.
My talents and skills go well beyond the world of the Internet. Over the past few years I have, with my husband and daughter, built my dream home from the gound up. I never would have expected to add "concrete pouring" and "house framing" to my resume, but I can now. When time permits I dabble at photography and stained glass.
